T.O.E.S. - OneNote In-Person

OneNote is the best Microsoft Office program you’re probably not using.  It is an awesome, powerful note-taking tool that really looks like a digital notebook.  You can embed just about anything into the pages.  It has an incredible search capability and integrates great with Outlook and other Office programs.  There is a share and a collaborate feature and it is available on multiple platforms.  It is a great tool to organize the excess amount of information we deal with daily.

Most of this will be a hands on session so bring your laptop or use one of the YOGA ThinkPads available in the CPE.  We will learn some of the main features of OneNote and we will discuss the many ways you could integrate it into your professional life.  One great use is for collaborating with a committee/ group using a shared notebook to have virtual meetings or just to keep your group organized.
